Common Ground Garden Common Ground Garden sells all varieties of garden vegetables at the farmers' market. Common Ground is also a subscription CSA garden (Community Supported Agriculture) in St. Joseph. It has been in production for 14 years and is associated with St. Benedict's Monastery and the College of St. Benedict. College students have always been a part of the work force. They publish a weekly newsletter which includes garden lore and recipes, and sponsor social activities for the membership during the growing season. They love what they do! Sister Phyllis Plantenberg, founder of CGG, was instrumental in helping develop the St. Joseph Farmers' Market and was a founding member of the Market Board of Directors.
