Phyllis Plantenberg, OSB Sister Phyllis sells all varieties of garden vegetables at the farmers' market. She is director of Common Ground Garden, a subscription CSA garden (Community Supported Agriculture) in St. Joseph. Common Ground has been in production for 14 years and is associated with St. Benedict's Monastery and the College of St. Benedict. College students have always been a part of the work force. They publish a weekly newsletter which includes garden lore and recipes, and sponsor social activities for the membership during the growing season. They love what they do! Sister Phyllis was instrumental in helping develop the St. Joseph Farmers' Market and was a founding member of the Market Board of Directors.
