St. Joseph Farmers'
Market in the 4th of July Parade 2008 New market bags
are here!
Introducing the Cookbook Project
To further good relations among SJFM members, the board has decided to undergo the creation of a cookbook which will also serve as promotion of participating members. The book is slated to be 200 pages and we estimate ordering 200 copies by July 1, 2008. For more information, please follow the link below.
St. Joseph Farmers' St. Joseph Tap Instead
Two million plastic beverage bottles
are used in the US Bottled water is no better than tap water, and in fact, can be worse. It's trucked across country in plastic bottles that can leach cadmium. Also, bottled water is often times nothing more than tap from another community's water system.
In an effort to reduce waste, bottled
water will no longer be offered at the market stand. St. Joseph's
well water is delicious! Patrons are encouraged
to use the cooler in the Wobegon Trail Center next
to the market. |
